Well, my name is Alisa and I identify as a transgendered woman. I've always been passionate about feminism and equality for all genders but before this recent event, I had a rather negative view of men.
I consider myself lucky to have found such a great therapist who helped me through my traumatic experience. As I mentioned earlier, I woke up one day with a penis attached to my body. It was a shocking and confusing time for me but my therapist helped me work through it.
I've come to accept that having a penis doesn't make me any less of a woman. In fact, it has given me a new perspective on gender and how fluid it can be. While I may not be able to have biological children, I am still capable of motherhood in other ways.
Despite the challenges I've faced, I feel lucky to live in a time where transgendered people are becoming more accepted in society. It's been a long road but I'm glad that I can finally be my true self without fear of judgment or discrimination.
