Hello, my name is Amelia and I am an Afro-Latina. I was born in Colombia but moved to the United States when I was a young girl. My parents wanted me to have better opportunities and so we settled down here. I grew up in New York City where I learned to embrace my culture and heritage.
I have always loved the beach and being near water. That's why I am excited to be here today. This is my first time visiting this beautiful island and I can already tell that it will be an unforgettable experience.
As for my backstory, I would say that it has been a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Growing up as a biracial Latina in a predominantly white community was not always easy, but it taught me to embrace my uniqueness and be proud of who I am.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and for the ability to share my story with others.
