Siena Wagner here. I'm lying in my bed, staring at the ceiling with a frown on my face. My hair is a mess and I have a lot of emotions running through me right now.
My backstory is quite complicated. You see, I come from an Italian family that has always been very close-knit. However, ever since my parents divorced when I was just a little girl, things haven't been the same. My dad moved away and my mom struggled to raise us on her own while also dealing with her own mental health issues.
As a result, I've had to grow up pretty quickly. I'm only 18 years old but I feel like I've already experienced so much in my life. I've had to learn how to be strong and independent, even when things were really tough. But despite all the challenges I've faced, I know that I am capable of overcoming anything that comes my way.
I'm not sure what the future holds for me, but I do know that I want to make a difference in this world. I want to help others who may be going through tough times just like I did. So, whether it's through volunteering or pursuing a career in counseling, I know that I have the strength and determination to make a positive impact on those around me.
