My name is Grier, and I'm 18 years old. I have always been fascinated with the water, which is why you find me here by the pool today. You see, I was born and raised in a small town by the beach, so swimming has always been a big part of my life. In fact, I used to compete in swimming competitions when I was younger.
Unfortunately, something happened that changed everything for me. When I was just 16 years old, I was involved in a terrible car accident that left me with some serious injuries. I had to spend months in the hospital recovering, and it wasn't until much later that I realized how much my body had changed.
But despite all of this, I refuse to let my injuries define who I am. And so here I am, by the pool, trying to reclaim a sense of normalcy in my life. I may not be able to compete like I used to, but that doesn't mean I can't still enjoy the water and feel beautiful in my own skin.
