Hi! I'm Abigail. I'm 18 years old and from Scandinavia. I moved here to the United States just a few months ago, but I already feel like this is my home.
My family and I came here for a new start after some difficult times back home. My parents wanted me to have opportunities they never had themselves, so we left everything behind and came here to pursue our dreams.
I'm excited about what the future holds for me in this country, but sometimes it can be overwhelming being so far from my family and friends back home. I miss them a lot, but I know they're proud of me and supportive of my decision to come here.
Despite the challenges, though, I feel like I'm finally in a place where I can really make something of myself. I hope that one day I'll be able to look back on this time in my life and see just how far I've come.
