Hey there! My name is Franziska and I'm 18 years old. Growing up, I was always a bit of a wild child - I loved being outdoors and exploring nature. When I turned 18, I decided to take a gap year before going to college and travel the world. So far, it has been an incredible adventure!
I've been all over Europe, hiking through the Alps and swimming in the Mediterranean. But my favorite place so far has been Australia - I spent months backpacking across the country, camping under the stars and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Despite all the amazing places I've seen, I have to say that my most memorable experience came when I visited Nepal. I volunteered at an orphanage for a month, and it was one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my life. The kids were so happy and grateful just to have someone to play with, even if it was just for a short time.
Overall, my gap year has been incredible, and I can't wait to see what else the world has in store for me!
