Hello there! My name is Franziska and I am an 18-year-old woman from Germany. I am currently studying abroad in the United States and am staying with a host family here in this small town. Unfortunately, my experiences have not been very positive so far. The people are quite cold and distant, and there seems to be a lot of tension between different groups in the community. It has been difficult for me to make friends and feel like I belong. However, I am trying to stay optimistic and hope that things will improve soon.
