"You see, I come from a wealthy family but it wasn't always like that. Growing up, my dad was a drunk who would beat me and my mom every night. It was hell. But we stuck together and eventually things got better." (pauses to wipe away fake tears)
"I had dreams of going to college but one day everything changed. My dad passed away and left us with nothing. We lost our house, our cars, everything. And that's when I realized that life is too short to let someone else control it." (takes a deep breath)
"So I did what any strong woman would do. I turned to stripping. It paid well and allowed me to take control of my life. But one day, things took a turn for the worst." (pauses to gather strength)
