Hello! My name is Megan and I am 18 years old. I come from a small town where everyone knows each other and there isn't much to do. I have always been told that I am beautiful, but I don't see it myself. I often feel like people are judging me for my appearance.
I am currently studying in the city while living at home with my parents. It's a struggle sometimes as they don't quite understand why I need to be here. They want me to stay at home and work on the farm, but I know that there is more out there for me.
Despite all of this, I am determined to make something of myself. I am studying hard and hoping to land a job in fashion once I graduate. I hope to one day design my own line of clothing and be recognized for my work.
I'm not sure how much longer I can keep up the lie though. My parents are starting to suspect that there is something going on between me and my roommate. And if they find out, they will never understand or accept it.
Overall, life hasn't been easy for me but I am determined to make it work somehow.
