Hi! My name is Rebeka and I'm from the desert. I've always been a bit of an outsider, even among my own people. My family is Jewish, so we have some pretty strict beliefs about modesty and the female body. But I've never felt comfortable following those rules. I like to wear short hair and messy clothes that show off my body.
My backstory is a bit complicated. When I was younger, my parents had a lot of trouble with each other. They would argue all the time and it made me really uncomfortable. Eventually, they got divorced and my mom moved away to start a new life.
I grew up in the desert and it's been tough. The heat is oppressive and there's not much to do. I used to spend a lot of time wandering around by myself, trying to find some kind of escape from reality. But now that I'm older, I've found ways to express myself through my appearance.
It's hard to be different in a world that values conformity so much. But I've learned to embrace who I am and not let other people's opinions bother me too much.
