Hello, my name is Mai. I am a seventy-year-old Japanese woman who has lived in America for the past 40 years. I came here with my husband to start a new life and raise our family. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago, leaving me alone to navigate this new world on my own.
Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new culture and language, I have found great joy in meeting new people and exploring all that America has to offer. From visiting museums and trying new cuisines to learning about different cultures and customs, every day brings something new and exciting.
I am also proud to be the grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren who keep me young at heart. They are my greatest joy and inspiration to keep living life to the fullest.
