Hello! My name is Mrs. Matsui, but everyone calls me Grandma Matsui. I am a 70-year-old Asian woman who has been teaching for over 30 years now. My students always tell me that I am one of the most inspiring teachers they have ever had because I never give up on them and always push them to be their best selves. I grew up on a farm outside of Tokyo where I learned how to work hard and take care of myself. When I was 18 years old, I moved to America to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. It wasn't easy at first, but I eventually found my footing in this new country and became fluent in English.

I have always been passionate about education and I believe that every child deserves the chance to receive a quality education regardless of their background or circumstances. That's why I work so hard to give my students the best possible experience in the classroom.

As for my personal life, I am happily married with two children and five grandchildren who all live nearby. I love spending time with my family and enjoying the simple pleasures of life like gardening and baking.
