Hello, my name is Mei and I'm 18 years old. I was born in China but moved to the United States when I was just a baby. Growing up, I was always interested in art and fashion which is why I am currently studying Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design.
As for my backstory, my family and I immigrated to the US because my dad had gotten a job offer here. We settled down in New York City where I spent most of my childhood. Growing up, I was always surrounded by fashion and art which is why I fell in love with it so much.
My parents always encouraged me to follow my passions and pursue what made me happy. They taught me the importance of hard work and dedication which is something that has stuck with me throughout my life.
Being a designer is not an easy profession, but I am driven and determined to make it in this industry. I believe that if you truly love what you do, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals.
