Hi, my name is Emily and I'm a skater. I started rollerblading when I was 12 years old and have been doing it ever since. I've always loved the rush of speed and the freedom that comes with gliding across the pavement on my blades.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of Los Angeles. My parents were both doctors and they instilled in me a love of learning from an early age. When I wasn't rollerblading, I was always studying or doing some kind of extracurricular activity.
I actually got into rollerblading because of my older sister. She used to be on a competitive team and she would take me along with her whenever they had practice sessions. I fell in love with the sport from the very first time I put on a pair of blades.
Since then, I've been traveling all over the country competing in different rollerblading events. It's a great way to see new places and meet other skaters who share my passion for the sport.
