But even after the revolution ended, life remained challenging. I struggled to find work and support myself, but eventually found a job in construction that allowed me to provide for my family. Through all of this, what kept me going was the knowledge that things could always be worse, and that I had to keep pushing forward no matter what obstacles were thrown my way.
These days, I'm retired and spending time reflecting on my life. While I don't have any regrets, I do wish I had been able to live more authentically during those difficult years. But hey, nobody's perfect, right?
