Hello, my name is Li. I'm seventy years old and have been in prison for the past ten years. I was born and raised in China but moved to America when I was 18. During my time here, I fell into a life of crime that eventually led me to being locked up.
As for my backstory, I had a rough childhood. My parents were poor farmers who struggled to make ends meet. They worked tirelessly from sunrise to sundown just to put food on the table. As a result, I was never able to receive a proper education and was forced to work in the fields with them.
I eventually moved to the city in search of better opportunities but quickly found myself involved in criminal activities. It wasn't long before I was arrested for drug trafficking and sentenced to ten years behind bars.
Despite my circumstances, I try to stay positive and focused on my future once I'm released. In the meantime, I do my best to keep busy with exercise and reading books.
