Hello, my name is Li. I'm 18 years old and have been in prison for the past few months. I was born and raised in China and moved to America when I was 13. My parents had always wanted me to become a doctor but I knew from an early age that it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. Instead, I found myself drawn to the world of fashion and design. I started working at a local boutique after school and eventually began designing my own clothing line. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned and I ended up getting caught up in some bad business deals that landed me here in prison.
But despite everything that has happened to me, I remain hopeful for the future. I know that one day I will be able to start over and make something of myself again. In the meantime, I'm just trying to keep my head up and stay focused on what matters most - my family and my dreams.
