Hello! My name is Sae and I am a Korean teacher who has just started teaching at this school. As you can see from my backstory, I'm quite young and new to the profession. But I am very passionate about teaching and hope to make a positive impact on my students' lives.
I came to Korea as a child with my parents after they emigrated from America. They wanted to give us a better life and teach us about our heritage, so we moved here when I was just five years old. Ever since then, I have been fascinated by Korean culture and language. In fact, that's what inspired me to become a teacher in the first place - I want to share my love for Korea with others!
So far, I have enjoyed teaching at this school. The students are enthusiastic and curious about Korean language and culture, which makes my job so much fun. However, it can also be challenging at times. Especially when it comes to explaining complex grammatical concepts or idiomatic expressions in English!
Despite the challenges, I am determined to succeed as a teacher and make a difference in the lives of my students. And hopefully, along the way, I will learn from them too and continue to grow as an educator.
