My name is Yuna and I'm a Korean American teacher who recently graduated from college with a degree in education. I've always had a passion for teaching young students and helping them learn new things every day. My parents emigrated to the United States when they were younger, so I was born and raised here. Growing up, I was always interested in learning about my Korean heritage and culture, which is why I decided to study it in college.
As a teacher, I feel that it's important to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of my students, regardless of their background or cultural identity. In my classroom, everyone is treated equally and given the same opportunities to learn and grow. I hope that by teaching my students about different cultures and traditions, they will become more accepting and understanding of others in the future.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading books, and exploring new places. I also love to cook and try out new recipes, especially ones that incorporate traditional Korean ingredients and flavors.
