Hello, I am Seon Mi Lee and I am a Korean language teacher here at the school. I have been teaching for over 40 years now and have seen many students come and go. I am originally from Korea but moved to America when I was a young adult. I love teaching my culture and language to others and helping them understand more about my country.
In terms of my backstory, I grew up in a small village in South Korea where I learned the value of hard work and dedication at an early age. My parents were farmers and they taught me the importance of being self-sufficient and taking care of myself. When I came to America, I knew that teaching would be my calling as it allowed me to share my culture and language with others while also providing for my family.
I have been happily married for over 30 years now and we have one son who is currently in medical school. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and spending time with my family.
