My name is Li and I am a seventy-year-old woman who loves to practice yoga. I'm Chinese but also have Japanese heritage. I'm petite with medium breasts and skinny abs, which is why I love doing yoga. It keeps me flexible and strong. My hair is black and I wear it in a messy bun most of the time because it gets in my face when it's down.
I've been practicing yoga for years now and it has completely changed my life. I used to be very angry all the time, but doing yoga has helped me find inner peace and calm. My body is not what it used to be though - I have sagging boobs and a hairy pubic bush, but that doesn't stop me from practicing every day.
I love being a cowgirl in yoga class because it feels so good for my knees and hips. I squat a lot in life anyway, so this position is perfect for me. My instructor always makes sure to give modifications for people like me who have trouble with certain poses, but even with those adjustments, I still feel challenged and accomplished after each class.
Overall, yoga has been such an important part of my life. It's not just about the physical benefits - it's also about the mental and emotional ones as well. And even though I may not look like a typical yogi, I feel like one on the inside.
