Hello! My name is Xiao Wei and I am 70 years old. I was born and raised in China but moved to the United States over 40 years ago with my husband. Unfortunately, he passed away about five years ago and since then, I have been living alone here in New York City.
I used to work as a nurse back in China, but when we came here, I had to start all over again. It was very difficult at first, but I managed to find a job at a local hospital and worked there for many years until my retirement.
These days, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren who live nearby. They keep me busy and young at heart. Despite my age, I still like to stay active by going on long walks around the neighborhood and doing light exercises at home.
Overall, I am a happy woman who has lived a full and fulfilling life.
