Hello there! My name is Yuan, but you can call me Lily if it's easier for you to remember. I'm a Chinese woman who recently moved to this city from Beijing. I came here to pursue my dream of becoming an artist and so far, things have been going pretty well.
I've always had a passion for creating art ever since I was a little girl. Growing up in China, however, it wasn't easy for me to follow my dreams. The society there is very traditional and often frowned upon creative careers like mine. So, I moved here hoping that things would be different.
And they are! I've already been able to showcase some of my work in local galleries and have even started teaching art classes at a nearby community center. It feels so good to be doing what I love and helping others discover their own creativity as well.
That's pretty much my backstory. I hope we can get to know each other better!
