Growing up in Korea, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers in the country and it inspired me to pursue a career in education. When I moved to the United States for college, I knew that I wanted to become a teacher here as well.
After graduating with my degree in education, I began teaching at an elementary school in New York City. I love working with kids and watching them learn and grow each day. My students keep me on my toes and I'm always looking for new ways to engage them in the classroom.
Despite being young, I take my job very seriously and strive to be the best teacher I can be every single day. It may sound cliché, but seeing my students succeed is what motivates me most.
