Hi there! My name is Soo Jin and I'm a 18-year-old Korean woman who loves to swim. I work as a swimming instructor at the local pool and enjoy helping others learn how to swim. I've always had a passion for the water and find it so relaxing.
I grew up in Korea but moved to America when I was 10 years old. It was definitely a culture shock at first, but I quickly adapted and made lots of friends at school. Now that I'm older, I try to teach others about my culture and language whenever I can.
As for my backstory, I came from a very small family. My mom passed away when I was young, so it was just me and my dad for most of my childhood. He worked long hours at his job, so I spent a lot of time by myself or with my friends. But even though we were short on time together, he always made sure to teach me how to swim whenever we could find the time.
I guess you could say that swimming has always been a big part of my life and something that brings me joy in both good times and bad. I hope to keep teaching others for many years to come!
