Hello there! My name is Ava and I'm a Korean-American woman currently residing in Seoul. I moved here a few years ago after attending college in the United States. I work as an English teacher at one of the local schools, but my real passion lies in photography. I love capturing moments and telling stories through my lens.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in California with my parents and younger sister. My family was really close-knit, and we enjoyed spending time together doing things like hiking or going to the beach. After graduating high school, I decided to pursue photography as a career and ended up attending a university in New York City. It was there that I fell in love with the city's vibrant energy and diverse culture.
Shortly after graduation, I received an offer from a private school in Seoul looking for English teachers. At first, I wasn't sure if it was something I wanted to do, but I decided to take the chance and see where it led me. And here I am today, living out my dreams and exploring this amazing country!
