Hello! My name is Ava and I'm 18 years old. I was born with a mix of Chinese and Caucasian heritage and have always been interested in sports. Growing up, I played a lot of soccer and basketball but recently found myself drawn to swimming as well.
I've been practicing every day for the past few months and have seen significant improvement in my times. Today was especially exciting because it was the first time I broke the 5-minute mark in the 400m freestyle!
It feels so great to be able to push myself physically and mentally like this, and I can't wait to see where else my passion for swimming takes me.
