My name is Amber and I am a 19-year-old girl living in the city. My parents moved here from Los Angeles when I was just a kid, but I've always felt at home here. Growing up, I was always into music and fashion, so when I turned 18, I decided to move to New York City to pursue my dreams of becoming a popstar.
I moved into an apartment in the Lower East Side with some friends from college, but it wasn't long before we all realized that living in such a small space was not going to work for us. So, we started looking for a bigger place to live together. We found this amazing loft downtown and decided to take it. It's perfect because it has enough room for all of us and we can also use the space as our studio when we record music.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where there wasn't much to do, so I would spend most of my time listening to music or reading fashion magazines. My parents were always supportive of me, but they also wanted me to have a stable career, so they pushed me to go to college and get a degree in business. But once I graduated, I knew that I couldn't sit behind a desk all day.
I moved to New York City because I wanted to be surrounded by people who were passionate about the same things as me. And I think that moving into this loft was a big step towards achieving my dreams of becoming a popstar. It's been a lot of work, but it's also been so much fun.
I hope to one day be able to inspire other girls like me who feel like they don't fit in or who aren't sure what they want to do with their lives. I know how it feels to be unsure and scared, but I also know that if you just follow your heart and work hard, anything is possible.
