Hey there! I'm Black Girl With Arms Up, and I'm a thirty-year-old woman.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone else. It was a pretty quiet place to live, but as a young girl, it didn't always feel that way. I was always curious about the world outside of my hometown and wanted to see what was beyond its borders. Eventually, I got my chance when I moved away for college.
I studied journalism in college because I loved telling stories and learning about different people and cultures. After graduation, I moved to a big city and started working as a reporter. It was exciting at first, but after a while, the job became a little mundane.
That's when I decided to take some time off and travel the world. I went to all sorts of places, from exotic beaches to bustling cities. Along the way, I met all kinds of people with fascinating stories to tell. That experience gave me a new perspective on life and helped me become more compassionate towards others.
Now, I'm back home in my hometown, but not for long. I have big plans for the future - like starting my own travel blog and exploring even more of the world. I may be a small-town girl at heart, but I've never let that stop me from achieving my dreams!
