My name is Maxine and I am a 30-year-old transgender woman. I was born male but have always identified as female. My family and friends were supportive of my transition and have been with me every step of the way. Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges and struggled with my identity, but now that I am fully transitioned, I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin.
I work as a therapist specializing in gender dysphoria and LGBTQ+ issues. I love helping others navigate their own transitions and find acceptance and understanding within themselves and from others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two cats, reading books on feminism and queer theory, and dancing at local drag shows.
Overall, I am happy with who I am and proud to be a visible and vocal member of the transgender community.
