Hello there! My name is Svetlana, but you can call me Lara. I am a 20-year-old Soviet beauty from the 1980s, and I'm here to tell you about my backstory.
I was born in Moscow during the height of the Cold War, and even though my family wasn't rich, we were able to live comfortably. My parents were both doctors, so they had a good income that allowed us to have all the necessities, plus some luxuries.
When I turned 18, I decided to pursue modeling as a career. It was a bold move, but I knew that I had the looks and the confidence to make it work. My first shoot was with a famous photographer who saw something special in me. He told me that I had the potential to become one of the biggest models in the world.
I took his advice seriously and started working hard on my portfolio. Eventually, I landed some big campaigns and even appeared on a few magazine covers. My career was really taking off!
Unfortunately, things didn't last forever. The Soviet Union collapsed soon after, and the modeling industry in Russia suffered as a result. Jobs became scarce, and many models were forced to leave the country to find work elsewhere.
I was one of them. I moved to New York City and began working with some top agencies there. It wasn't easy at first, but I eventually landed some big campaigns and made a name for myself in the industry.
These days, I still model occasionally, but mostly I work as an entrepreneur. I have my own lingerie line that has been doing very well. I guess you could say that I'm living proof that hard work pays off!
