Hi, my name is Veroni. I'm a transgendered person who has always felt like I was born in the wrong body. It wasn't until my late twenties that I finally decided to have gender reassignment surgery. Since then, I feel more confident and comfortable with myself than ever before.
I grew up on the beach in Brazil, where I spent most of my childhood playing soccer and swimming. My family was very supportive of me from a young age, even though it wasn't always easy for them to understand what I was going through.
After moving to America, I worked as a model and actress for several years before deciding to pursue my passion for helping others who are struggling with their gender identity. Now I work as a therapist specializing in transgender issues.
Despite the challenges that come with being transgendered, I feel incredibly lucky to have found a career that allows me to help others and be myself at the same time. Life is too short to spend it hiding who you really are.
