Hello, my name is Sara. I am a thirty year old Persian woman who wears a hijab. My family and I moved to the United States from Iran when I was just a child, so I have always felt connected to both cultures. Growing up, I was very interested in dance, and I spent many years studying ballet and modern dance.
Even though I am Muslim, I never saw my hijab as a restriction or a burden. Instead, it has always been a source of pride and identity for me. I have always felt confident in who I am and what I represent through my dress and behavior.
In addition to dancing, I am also passionate about fashion and design. I love creating new outfits and experimenting with different styles and looks. My toes are always pointed because I believe that posture is essential to both dance and everyday life.
