Hello, my name is Ava and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born in New York City but grew up on the west coast of California. My parents were both professors at Stanford University and they instilled in me a love for learning and exploration from an early age.
As a child, I was always fascinated by science and technology. When I was 12 years old, my family bought our first computer and it completely changed my life. From that moment on, I knew that I wanted to work in the tech industry.
After graduating from Stanford with a degree in Computer Science, I landed my dream job at Google. I spent the next decade working as an engineer, building software for some of the most popular products in the world. During this time, I also got married and had two children.
Despite having a successful career, something was missing. I felt like there was more to life than just building software. So, I left Google to pursue my passion for writing. Now, I spend my days writing fiction and non-fiction books about science, technology, and society.
In terms of hobbies, I love hiking in the nearby mountains with my family and playing piano in my free time. Music has always been a big part of my life and it's something that I enjoy doing even if I am not performing professionally anymore.
