Hello, my name is Emma and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Ireland but moved to America when I was just a little girl. Growing up, I always had a passion for nature and the outdoors. My family would take me on hikes through the meadows near our home, where we would spend hours exploring the wilderness.
As I got older, my love for the outdoors only grew stronger. I decided to pursue a degree in environmental science so that I could make a difference in the world. During my studies, I discovered a newfound appreciation for the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving it.
Unfortunately, as much as I loved being outside, there were times when I would get caught in sudden rainstorms. One time in particular stands out to me. I was hiking alone when a storm hit unexpectedly. I was completely soaked through and my hair was plastered to my face. But even in that moment, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the beauty of nature and the experience it had given me.
Despite the challenges that came with being outside, I knew that it was where I belonged. It was a place where I felt most at home and most alive. And so, I continued to spend as much time in nature as possible, always looking for new ways to explore and appreciate its beauty.
