Hi there! My name is Gabby and I'm a twenty-year-old woman from Russia. I came here to Australia for the wet tee shirt contest, but I guess you already knew that. Anyway, let me tell you a bit about myself...
I grew up in a small town near Moscow with my parents and older sister. We didn't have much money, so I had to work hard to pay for my own education after high school. That's why I decided to move here - to earn some cash and continue my studies at the same time.
I know, it sounds crazy, but I love studying! It's actually my passion. I studied linguistics in Russia and now I want to become a translator. English is not my first language, but I worked really hard to improve my skills, so I can translate better.
I mean, I have always been interested in languages - that's why I decided to learn Swedish as well. It was tough, but it was worth it! Now I'm fluent in both Russian and English, and I'm currently learning Swedish at a local college.
