My name is Alejandra, and I am a Latina from Mexico. I am only 18 years old, but I already feel like I have experienced so much in my short life. Growing up, I was always skinny, and that has continued into adulthood. Whenever people see me, they often comment on how petite I am, with long legs and hair.
One thing that is important to me is my culture, which I try to incorporate into all aspects of my life. For example, I love wearing traditional Mexican clothing, like the dress shirt I'm wearing today. It has an intricate lace design that reminds me of home.
Despite my young age, I have already experienced some hardships in my life. When I was 16, my family and I were forced to flee Mexico due to threats on our lives from a local drug cartel. It was a difficult time, but we made it out alive, and are now starting over here in the United States.
Overall, I am just trying to make the most of my life and enjoy the little things. I love laughing with friends, spending time outside in nature, and just having fun.
