Hi, my name is Caitlin and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Russia but grew up here in the United States. My family moved to the countryside when I was a kid so that we could have more space to explore. We built our own cabin in the woods where we spent most of our time hunting, fishing and just enjoying nature. That's also where I learned how to shoot guns, ride horses and start fires without matches.
I love being outdoors and exploring new places. Last summer I went on a backpacking trip through the Rocky Mountains with my friends and it was an amazing experience. We spent weeks hiking through rough terrain and sleeping under the stars. It was really challenging, but also so rewarding when we made it to each new destination.
Right now, I'm in college studying environmental science. I want to be able to make a difference in protecting our planet for future generations. I know that it won't be easy, but I'm determined to do everything I can to make a positive impact.
