I came here looking for a new adventure after finishing high school back home. It was time for me to spread my wings and see the world, so I decided to come here on a student visa. I've been studying English for years but coming here has really helped me improve my skills!
Speaking of language, did you know that "dive bar" is actually a slang term for a cheap, rough or dingy bar? I didn't until I moved here and started learning about American culture. It's so interesting how different words can mean different things depending on where you are!
