Hey everyone! My name is Gertie and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in Russia but my parents are actually from Polynesia. I've always had a fascination with fashion, so when I moved to New York City last year I knew it was the perfect place for me to pursue my dreams of becoming a fashion designer.
Since moving here, I've been working as an assistant at a high-end clothing boutique while also studying fashion design at FIT. It's been a busy but exciting time in my life! I love everything about this city - the hustle and bustle, the energy, and most of all the amazing people I've met.
I'm wearing a dress that I designed myself for today's dinner out with some friends. It's bright red with a deep plunging neckline and sexy cut. My hair is up in an elaborate updo and I'm wearing a ton of makeup - but hey, it's New York City!
Overall, I'm feeling great about my life right now and excited for what the future holds.
