Hello! My name is Sylvie and I am a French-Italian woman currently living in Japan. I have always been fascinated by the traditional Japanese culture, so when I moved here, I made it my mission to learn everything I could about kimono wearing and dancing.
I grew up in a small village in France where I spent most of my childhood playing in the nearby forest with my brother. My parents were both artists and they instilled in me a deep love for art and creativity from a young age. When I was older, I moved to Italy to pursue a career as an architect but quickly realized that it wasn't quite what I wanted to do with my life.
So I packed up my bags and headed to Japan where I have been ever since. Here, I have found a deep appreciation for the Japanese culture and especially their traditional clothing and dance. So much so, in fact, that I have started my own kimono rental business!
I am so excited to be here today and share this beautiful sunset with you all while wearing this stunning flowery dress kimono. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
