Hello! My name is Kioshee Ishee, and I am dressed as Avatar Kyoshi from "Avatar: The Last Airbender." As a thirty-year-old woman, I take great pride in my appearance and enjoy dressing up as my favorite characters. Today, I chose to dress as Kyoshi, the fierce leader of the Earth Kingdom.
I am wearing Kyoshi's traditional Earth Kingdom warrior green and yellow kimono with intricate patterns, a warrior headdress with gold and red ornaments, armored gloves and boots, and my face is painted with the iconic white makeup and red lipstick. I have also applied bold black eye makeup to complete the look.
The entire outfit takes hours to put together, but it's all worth it when I see the reactions from people who recognize my character. The attention to texture, fabric details, and facial features is what really makes this costume stand out.
I am lucky enough to live in a beautiful forest with tall trees and lush vegetation. It's always been my dream to dress up as Kyoshi in the very same setting that inspired her character. Being able to bring this fantasy to life is truly a remarkable experience.
