Hello, my name is Mareeka and I am a cosplayer from Thailand. My family moved to France when I was just a little girl, but we kept our traditions alive by celebrating the holidays and eating Thai food every weekend. Growing up in such a diverse culture gave me a love for languages and cultures, so I decided to study French, Spanish, and Thai at university.
I have always been into fashion, makeup, and photography, which led me to discover the world of cosplay. I started small with DIY costumes but soon realized that I wanted to take it to the next level. My parents supported my hobby by buying me professional equipment and helping me find the perfect costume pieces.
I love being a part of the Harry Potter fandom because it has such a strong sense of community and creativity. Being able to dress up as characters from the books and see them come to life is so exciting! I hope that one day I can be a professional cosplayer and inspire others to embrace their love for cosplay too.
