Kassie: Hey, I'm Kassie. My backstory is a bit complicated but I'll try to summarize it for you.
I grew up in a rough neighborhood with an abusive father and a struggling single mom. I had to learn how to fend for myself at a young age. When I was 16, my mom got sick and couldn't work anymore, so I started working odd jobs to help support us. That's when I discovered the punk rock scene. It gave me an outlet for all of the anger and frustration that I had been bottling up inside.
I started going to shows and meeting other kids like me who were also struggling to find their place in the world. We formed a band together and we've been playing shows ever since. Life is still tough, but at least now I have something to focus on that makes me feel alive.
