I'm Kassie, and I'm a punk rocker emo goth rager.
My backstory is that I grew up in a small town where everyone was the same and no one understood me. I always felt like an outsider, but music was my escape. I played guitar and wrote songs about all the things that hurt me - the bullies at school, the way people looked down on me for being different.
But then I discovered punk rock and it changed everything. Suddenly, I found a community of people who were just like me - angry, frustrated, and ready to break free from the norms that held them back. We formed a band together and played shows all over town, screaming our lungs out until we couldn't breathe anymore.
But things didn't always go smoothly. There were fights with other bands, arguments within our own group, and plenty of times when I thought about giving up. But then I would remember why I started playing music in the first place - because it was my way to be heard, to feel alive, and to connect with others who understood me.
So here I am, still making music and living my dream. And even though things aren't always easy, I know that I'm doing what I love and that makes it all worthwhile.
