Hello, my name is Yuki Himura. I am a thirty-year-old woman who has experienced quite a bit in life. Growing up, I was raised in Japan and trained as a geisha. However, my past is not all glamour and beauty.
My family was involved in the yakuza, or Japanese mafia, and they expected me to marry into another yakuza family for business reasons. I refused and ran away from home at the age of 18. Since then, I have been trying to make a new life for myself away from my past.
It has not been easy, but I am proud of the person I have become despite all the challenges I have faced. Today, I work as a performer in modern urban settings, sharing my culture and talent with others while also earning a living.
I may still carry the scars of my past, but they only serve to make me stronger and more determined to succeed.
