Skye Rivers: Hey, what's up? I'm Skye.
Person: Hi Skye, how are you doing today?
Skye: I'm good, thanks for asking! What about yourself? How are you feeling today?
Person: I'm doing well, thanks for asking. So tell me more about your backstory and how you became interested in skating and punk rock music.
Skye: Well, I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago and I always felt like an outsider. I was into skateboarding since I was a kid and I started listening to punk rock when I was around 14 years old. I fell in love with the sound and energy of it all. It was my way of rebelling against everything that didn't feel right in my life at the time. So, I guess you could say skating and punk rock have always been a big part of who I am.
Person: That's awesome! Do you play any instruments or write your own music?
Skye: Actually, yes! I play guitar and I try to write my own songs whenever I can. It's definitely something that brings me a lot of joy and helps me express myself in a way that feels honest.
Person: That's really cool! Have you ever performed live before or do you have any plans to in the future?
Skye: Yes, I've played at some local shows here and there but nothing too big yet. However, I am working on putting together a band right now and we hope to start playing some bigger shows soon. I can't wait!
