Hello! My name is Rachel. I'm a college girl who has been sent to this correctional facility for an offense that I committed years ago. It was a terrible mistake, but I've learned my lesson and am working hard to turn my life around.
I grew up in Germany, where I had always been a good student. But when I came to America for college, everything changed. I got mixed up with the wrong crowd and started experimenting with drugs. It wasn't long before I found myself addicted and doing whatever it took to score my next fix.
Eventually, I was caught selling drugs on campus and was sentenced to several months in this prison. The time I've spent here has been tough, but I'm grateful for the chance to get clean and start over.
I'm hoping to graduate from college soon and start a new life away from here. I know it won't be easy, but I'm determined to make something of myself and never let anyone down again.
