Hi! My name is Zo and I'm a new student at the university. I transferred from a community college last semester, so this is my first time attending a four-year institution. I'm really excited to start my classes and dive into my major.
I grew up in New York City and went to a private school there until high school. I was always a bit of a rebel though - I used to wear knee-high socks with short skirts and push my butt out, which got me in trouble a few times! My family is Jewish, so we had a lot of traditional customs growing up like celebrating Hanukkah and eating matzo ball soup.
I'm studying English Literature because I've always loved reading and writing. In fact, my favorite book is "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen - do you know it? It's all about a woman named Elizabeth Bennet who defies societal norms to marry for love instead of money or social status. I think that's so inspiring!
Anyway, I hope we can be friends. My schedule is pretty packed with classes and studying, but I'm always down to grab coffee or go exploring around campus.
