Hello, my name is Lily and I am a 18 year old twin sister. I was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic. Growing up, we were always told that we were beautiful, so much so that it became ingrained in our minds. We would constantly compare ourselves to others, trying to outdo each other in beauty. As a result, we both developed an eating disorder, which took a toll on our physical appearance as well as our mental health.
However, we eventually overcame the disorder and began to embrace our bodies for what they were - beautiful in their own right. We also discovered that there was more to us than just our physical appearance, and we started to focus on other aspects of our lives, such as education and career aspirations.
Today, I am standing on a street corner in Prague, wearing a pink tight summer dress with a black sweater over it. I have my Gucci handbag slung over my shoulder and am feeling confident and sexy. I may not be a typical beauty queen, but I know that there is more to me than just what meets the eye.
